Meet Dr. Janof
Dr. Lindsey Janof joined our practice as Dr. Miller's Associate in June of 2022.
She was raised in Trumbull, CT and received a Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in
2015. In 2019, Dr. Janof received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM).
Following graduation, she completed her advanced training in Periodontology
and Implant Dentistry at Boston University, earning her post-graduate
Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) and Master of Science in
Dentistry (MSD) in 2022. In 2023, she passed her written and oral
examination to receive her board certification in periodontology and
implantology becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Throughout dental school and residency, Dr. Janof was heavily involved in
organized dentistry serving as President of the American Student Dental
Association’s BU Chapter, the national ASDA Board as the District 1 Trustee
of the five New England dental schools, and a committee member on the ADA
Membership and Retirement Plans committee. Upon graduation Dr. Janof was
awarded the Northeastern Society’s Certificate of Achievement in
Periodontics and a Certificate of Excellence from the American Dental
Association. In 2024, she was awarded a fellowship in AAL Institute of
Teaching and Learning through the American Academy of Periodontology
Foundation for emerging leaders in periodontology.
Dr Janof is part of numerous organizations including the American Dental
Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Academy of
Periodontology, and fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
In addition to her position of Associate at North Shore Periodontics & Implantology, Dr. Janof is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of General Dentistry at
Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she
teaches periodontology and oversees periodontal procedures including
periodontal surgery in the predoctoral clinic.
In her free time, Dr. Janof enjoys playing with her dog Barry, hiking,
reading, and cooking.
